Alright ya'll, um back already (hahaha, can't get rid of me that quick). With it being MLK jr. day I've been literally watching basketball all day. Thanks again Doctor. Basketball has been a huuuge part of my life since forever. It's even how I met Prezzy. There is one game today that is getting a little more press than the others. And that is the match up of the Cleveland Cavaliers going up against the Lake show from Los Angeles. Beast from the East against the best from the West. Both teams being led by two perennial all stars and soon to be Hall of Famers in Lebron James and Kobe Bryant. Being a huge Black Mamba fan I can't really give my opinion on who is better so I am going to leave it up to you. The debate has just begun...Who do you think is better?

kobe, the black mamba shuts you down the defensive end, and can drop 8 points on you in 2 mins, with scoring and assists! kobe is the truth, but lebron gets busy
First off, I want to give credit to you guys for putting the debate up, and secondly Kobe is unreal, and I have much respect for his game as the second best player in the league. lol So let me educate everyone.
1)Lets go with 1 of the obvious reasons. Lebron is 6'8 (or more) and is at least 250 lbs but can move like a point gaurd. From end to end he may be the fastest player in the league. No matter how much kobe does he can not compete with lebron.
2) At 24 years old vs kobe being 30, Lebron has 22 triple doubles vs kobes 15.
3) Stats this season:
lebron:ppg 27.6 rpg 7.2 apg 6.6
spg 2.0 bpg 1.3 fg% .497
kobe:ppg 27.0 rpg 5.6 apg 5.1
spg 1.5 bpg 0.4 fg% .476
As you can see in virtually every category lebron puts up better numbers with the exceptions of 3p% and ft%.
4) Lebron for the past 2 seasons proved that he can make any playoff series at least a 7 game series. If you dont believe me, check out last years playoffs as well as this 48 point victory over the much better(at the time) Detroit pistons. Its already ranked as one of the best playoff performances in playoff history. 29 of the last 30 cavs points!

5) Lebron is just as clutch or more clutch than Kobe. He lead the league in 4th quater points in the 2007-2008 season and is so strong he usually does not have to settle for a jumper.
6) Extra stats you probably didnt know.
Michael Jordan was 22 when he entered the nba.
Lebron on his 22 - 23 years old stats:
ppg 30.0 rpg 7.9 apg 7.2
Michael Jordan (GOAT) stats at the same age:
ppg 28.2 rpg 6.5 apg 5.9
Kobe Bryant same age stats
ppg 28.5 rpg 5.9 apg 5.0
The stats are all really close with lebron in the lead in every category again.
7) Better passer since he came into the league (day 1). Look at career stats and whens the last time you have heard kobe compared to Magic, the (GOAT) point gaurd

the cavs lost last night but before that lebron won the previous 4 games to kobe.
I could go on and on about how LBJ continues to break Kobes (youngest to) records and is an almost lock to win mvp this season but all you need to do is watch one of his games. H is starting to make it look like he is playing around with high schoolers. Its looking too easy.
To everyone who says Kobe has 3 rings: Kobe still has not done shit without Shaq as for as I can remember. Shaq was the mvp 1 year and finals mvp everytime, it clearly wasnt kobes team.
The truth is Every time lebron steps on the floor, hes faster, stronger, wants to win more and is a triple double threat with at least 30 points and hes only 24. Lebron is mvp and the best player today!
More proof lol Theres only 1 player in the history of the nba who can be compared to lebron.
